Who we are

Avon Automotive is a used-car dealer based at Unit 14, Ashmead Business Park, Ashmead Road, Keynsham, Bristol BS31 1SX. We're registered in England and Wales under company number 12650589 and authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under FCA number 928907.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us via forms (name, phone, email, message)
• If you apply for finance: extra fields needed for the soft search (employment status, budget, vehicle of interest)
• If you ask us to value your car: vehicle registration, mileage and condition
• If you accept analytics cookies: anonymous data about how you use the site (pages visited, source, device)

What we do with it

• Reply to your enquiry
• Pass finance applications to our lender panel (if you ask us to)
• Keep records of sales for FCA-required compliance and warranty purposes

We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. We don't send unsolicited marketing emails.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after your last contact, then deleted. Sale records are kept for the period required by HMRC and FCA — typically 6 years.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or restrict how we use it. Email us at info@avon-automotive.com and we'll respond within one calendar month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
